Interesting to think that while so many trends from the ’60s have been such a reference for current day fashions, one that has never really been front and center is the overtly prim and proper Garden-Party-ready Junior League looks so prevalent in the South at that time.
But now, with “The Help” being such a hit, and ladylike looks in general coming back in a big way for Fall, there may just be a way to translate the good parts of these looks into current day styles- as I discuss in this article from USA Today:
