Maternity Style: H&M Dress, Pea in the Pod Leggings, Vintage Belt

My latest Maternity Style look was solely based around my need to easily be able to slip on flats when necessary (i.e. navigating the busy Fashion's Night Out streets after work quickly and sans injury). Jeans were out- too long. Straight up dresses were out- too windy. But this little ensemble was just right.

The dress is from H&M- non-maternity- I am a HUGE fan of anything with ruched, puffed out shoulders. Especially now- I feel like they help to balance out the belly a bit. The leggings are the MOST amazingly comfy ones I have ever owned- from A Pea in the Pod. Perfect length, with a slight sheen that make them feel dressy without being fancy. (Case in point- I just wore them again this morning with sneakers and a hoodie to walk Norman and didn't look like I was coming back from some sort of Walk of Shame. Then again- don't think being pregnant I could fool anyone into thinking I landed a one-night stand at this point.)

The belt is a random vintage one that has sat in my closet untouched for years- and the shoes alternated between sky-high black, nude and cream Louboutin peep-toes and fabulously flat Sue London ballet slippers.

Whaddya think? Am I getting the hang of this pregnancy style thing? Working on it...More to come.
