What You Need To Workout At Home

Working out at home is an art- lots of it has to do with discipline (something I touch on a bit in THIS post) but also being prepared with easy to throw workout clothes that make you feel amazing, the right home gym equipment and a few added accessories can make a huge difference. During this time of self-quarantine and social distancing, creating a space for yourself to sweat every day is more important than ever- and to make it simple to get started, here are the things I use and recommend for a killer at-home workout.

What You Need To Workout At Home:

Easy to Wear Workout Clothes That Make You Feel Amazing

I am a huge fan of All Access matching sets (the colors are always evolving too!), and if you follow me on Insta, you know that I didn’t expect to love this Adam Selman Sport set (MAJORLY ON SALE RIGHT NOW!) half as much as I do- it feels incredible on (tip: go up one size). Old Navy recently launched an awesome (and crazy well priced) activewear collection, Girlfriend Collective is also super flattering, and the All in Motion brand at Target just introduced these liquid leggings set that are HOT!

Essential Gear to Stock Your Space

Mix and match free weights, a bracelet style that can be used on your wrists or ankles, the most-oft used bands, a post- workout foam roller (there are also tons of great videos on YouTube about how to use the roller so def take advantage!), and a cushy yoga mat (this one comes in a bunch of colors) will pretty much have you more than covered!

Extras To Accessorize Your Space

A few of these are new additions to my home gym space (and were featured in The Ultimate Edit weekly newsletter last week)., and are still getting daily use! The LED lights, you guys- make SUCH a difference. And every single person I have passed on a walk has asked about my bluetooth wrist speaker (from 6 feet away, of course)- they have all ordered one and text me to rave over and over again!
