Most Comfy Bathing Suits for Girls

Finding the most comfy bathing suits for girls (that are cute, too!) can be more work than one anticipates. Between itchy materials, odd sizing measurements, straps that pinch and quality issues, we tend to try on lots of swimwear before finding the ones that work best for my daughters. Alexa is 10 and super tall, and Goldie is 6 and on the shorter side- and since bathing suit brands never tend to have consistent sizing, my first tip for comfy bathing suits is to order 2 sizes of each style you love. Because the one that fits best may not be the one in the size you anticipated!

I also don’t like to spend a lot of bathing suits for kids because when they find the style they love, they wear it to death (and rarely let me so much as rinse it after a swim) so I don’t expect them to last more than one season anyway. We tend to do giant orders every season from Mini Boden, Old Navy, Target and Nordstrom- and of the dozens and dozens that the girls (often begrudgingly!) try on, this comfy bathing suits round up features most of the keepers. The prices are under $50 (and many under $20!), plus threw in some cozy coverups and of course, my favorite heart sunnies for small faces.
