Maternity Style: Lady-Who-Lunches-Inspired Layering

There are two things I want to point out in this Maternity Style post- hence it is a waist up shot and not my usual head-to-toe situation.

1: Bashful Bump Maternity Bodysuit- This thing is amazing. The fabric is soft and gorgeous- even my stylist who sees it all was incredibly impressed by the quality. It fits flawlessly and is quite possibly the most perfect layering piece ever made for pregnant women. I know you can't really see it in the photo- and I am not emotionally strong enough to post a photo of myself in just a body suit for all to see at the moment, sorry!- but check out their website, it is well worth the click.

2: Rosie Pope Maternity Princess Jacket: In real life (read: when I don't weigh 25+ pounds more than normal and/or have a tiny human taking up residence in my belly) I wear blazers almost daily. But finding form fitting jackets when pregnant has proven to be quite challenging. This is the only one I have found so far that looks lady-like, as opposed to "stolen from the man in your life's closet"-like. The Chanel-inspired boucle finish is always chic, and it is amazing over a M(aternity)LBD when you want to hide your arms (which, for the record, I always do) or paired with skinny jeans and ballet slipper flats.
