Cute tennis outfits for women can be hard to find, surprisingly! The essentials at first appear to be the same year after year, with trends barely coming into play when you look for basics that, after a while, start to feel boring. I am an avid tennis player, and part of the fun- let’s all be honest here- is the outfits. Every year, right around this time, I start hunting for a fun tennis wardrobe. This involves a considerable amount of searching at both the usual suspects, and some unexpected sites that happen to be a treasure trove of stylish staples to wear on- and off- the court.
Not gonna lie, it is a fun problem to solve- I buy, and return, tons of pieces, testing them out at home and on the tennis court to make sure they hold up comfortably, since few things (besides a heckling husband or daughter on the sidelines, ha!) can distract from a good swing like built-in tennis undies creeping up your backside ;)

I know every tennis establishment has its own set of rules when it comes to what is allowed on the court- where I play, the rule is one white piece- so either a white tennis skirt or a white top. This offers flexibility for fun pops of color, while still giving a nod to classic tennis style. And yes, tennis skirts tend to be the most popular pick traditionally for women on the court, but I really love the idea of incorporating tennis shorts this season- it feels ever-so-slightly rebellious, but also practical!
