Foot Care Favorites For At-Home Pedicures
I joke that for my first post-quarantine pedicure I am gonna go 3 towns over so as not to permanently humiliate myself by baring my hoofs in front of people I may see again. With flip flop weather soon upon us, it is time to take action- otherwise, we all better start hoping that socks and sandals become a thing FAST.
Personally, my pedi plan of attack looks something like this:
1- Soak in warm water to soften and prep- this is the best upgrade option to a basic soaking tub- the built-in exfoliating brushes and massage are KEY.
2- Use this motorized callus remover that everyone I know is OBESSED WITH (or go low tech with this callus stone, infused with anti-bacterial silver to keep it nice and clean!)
3- Trim toenails, push back cuticles and shape with a file using whatever tools I have around the house from my travel manicure kits.
4-Slip on these yummy toe massaging gel separators and put on some fun neon polish to show off my work.
After the basic overhaul, maintenance can be as easy as alternating between an exfoliating and hydrating foot mask every week or so, and I will be slathering my heels with this and sleeping in these amazing spa socks as often as possible (I can’t stand sleeping in socks, so these are ideal for me- open toes!)
The ideal at-home pedicure is simple and effective, and these 10 products can be mixed and matched to get the job DONE.
