How To Make The Most Amazing Photo Gifts, In Less Than 1 Minute. Yup.

I had never heard of MyPhoto until a pitch about the site landed in my inbox. It landed at a time when I was mid-panic about the photos collecting digital dust on my computer, so I took the site’s publicist up on his offer to send me an acrylic photo block so I could see first hand the quality and get the customer experience. My curiosity was peaked- it just seemed TOO affordable and TOO easy.

When a neat little package from MyPhoto arrived 5 days later, I hastily opened the box and unwrapped a weighty (in a good way), shiny square acrylic block with the most adorable photo (pulled from my Instragram) of Alexa and Goldie. Approximately two minutes later, I had logged into MyPhoto.com, uploaded my favorite photos, and began obsessively ordering more. The standard sizing options include 4 x 4, 5 x 7, 8 x 8 and 8 x 10- and now, they have the cutest MINIBLOX- 2 x 2, perfect for stacking and collecting.

The upload process is super easy- drag and drop from your computer, or, even better- just email a photo from your phone directly to 123@myphoto.com (this is my go-to method for that “if I don’t do this RIGHT now I will totally forget” moment, especially handy when you want to gift a friend a cute spontaneous snap). Your photos are are HD printed on 1” ultra-thick acrylic to give a gallery-quality look and feel. Light appears to radiate through your image adding a whole new dimension- and, well, it’s clear acrylic, so it works with ANY decor style (again, why I do a TON of gifting from this site).

Sure, MyPhoto makes other photo keepsakes too-poke around to see all the options on their site- but in my opinion, the acrylic blocks are the fool-proof way to go, every time. In less than 60 seconds, you can upload the pic, edit to fit the crop of your choice, see a preview, and order. GENIUS.

Pricing is great too- the MINIBLOX are $12 a pop, and the largest 8 x 10 acrylic block tops out at $99. Oh, and if you order a second of the same image, it is always 50% off (I usually order doubles and save to give as grandparent gifts, or the girls can use them as desktop decor.)

Anyway- this isn’t sponsored or anything like that- it is just one of those things that I find to be really useful, effortless and affordable, so figured it was worth a share!

Once I uploaded my Paris photos onto the site, they instantly created mock-ups and plugged them into all the thumbnails so I could see how the image would look in a stack.
